Here are some links to projects I have worked on and people I have worked with.

Here's my listing on IMDB:
The Internet Movie Database - Jordan Cushing

13 Hrs had its World Premiere at the Empire Leicester Square as part of Film4 Frightfest and was very warmly received by the thousand strong audience. It's gone on to pick up awards for BEST BRITISH FILM and BEST PRODUCTION DESIGN at Manchester's Grimm Up North festival. DVDs and BluRays have been on shelves since October and have outperformed all expectations!
Here I am at Frightfest with Isabella Calthorpe, director Jonathan Glendening, Gemma Atkinson and Antony De Liseo. What a blast! 13 Hrs DOP Jordan Cushing, Isabella Calthorpe, Jonathan Glendening, Gemma Atkinson, Antony De Liseo at Film4 Frightfest

Dougray Scott, Claire Forlani, Gordon Ramsay Above is a still from No Ordinary Trifle, the upcoming romantic comedy from writer/director James Hacking, which I shot and am pleased to say is finished. In this photo, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay looks on as the ever charming Dougray Scott woos the radiant Claire Forlani.
It was great working with such a terrific bunch, that also included Simon Callow, Michelle Ryan and Peter Bowles. I'm really looking forward to the film's release. And of course below, that's me with Gordon Ramsay and James Hacking. DOP Jordan Cushing, chef Gordon Ramsay and director James Hacking

A couple of new music videos I shot have hit the web...
I've embedded the links on a new Music and Corporate Video Page, or visit each one in its indigenous habitat:

From cosmic rockstars A Mountain of One comes the new single 'Bones' from the album 'Institute Of Joy'. Haunting track.
Singer songwriter Giacomo Sacchi ponders the mysteries of the deep, in Italian no less! Watch 'Il Silenzio Del Mare'

Gemma Atkinson, Tom Felton, Isabella Calthorpe in 13HrsI had the good fortune of working with some very talented performers shooting 13 Hrs, and I wanted to take the opportunity to thank them. I met a childhood icon, Simon MacCorkindale who I'm happy to report is both charming and brilliant. I also got to light the beautiful and incredibly talented Isabella Calthorpe and Gemma Atkinson. The lads Tom Felton, Josh Bowman, Peter Gadiot, Gabriel Thomson, and Antony De Liseo will all soon be household names. Finally John Lynch and Cornelius Clarke made what could have been a very stressful day a breeze.

Here I am shooting in France for Graham Osborne's WWII short Luck is a Rare Thing at Monte Castello.Graham Osborne, Jordan Cushing, Tom Turley, RED One

Last winter I shot a week of test scenes for Shottas Paradise, a London gangster film with a terrific message and a dynamite cast. Here's a picture of me from the set. Jordan Cushing, Kris Dallimore, RED one, Danny John-Jules Take a close look and you'll see Danny John-Jules , star of Red Dwarf reflected in the mirror at the far right. Other standouts in the cast include Ray Fearon, Wil Johnson, Mark Monero, Mark "Rhino" Smith, and Guy Burnet. Watch the teaser trailer here.

The Ascension Agency produced by Dan Birt and Ged Cleugh for Closed Circuit Films, with help from SONY and FilmLight has recently been finished. I had tremendous fun grading at FilmLight with BaseLight guru Jacqui Loran and I'd like to thank her for her time, and SONY for the use of their cameras. Please watch the trailer at Shooting People.

Bonney & Klein Film Productions 'This Much I Remember' - Production Still
I shot a short recently about a Jewish family in London in the 80s. It was written and directed by Anthony Klein, and produced by Alex Bonney. You can see some more production stills in their blog, or watch the first minute on my Fiction Films page.

SONY has recently released this promotional video featuring me, some bloody squib hits and a fishbowl, among other things. Producer John Adams, Director Jonathan Glendening and EPK Producer Ian Whitington also share their experiences using the Sony PMW EX-1.

Showreel, the UK's leading independent magazine for Film and TV production, also interviewed me, Jonathan Glendening and Camera Operator Phil Gaze about shooting S.N.U.B!, Europe's first feature to be shot with the Sony PMW EX-1. Read the article here.

S.N.U.B! Official Site

S.N.U.B! This is the official site for the horror feature S.N.U.B! There are some nice photos in the gallery and an EPK with a few clips of the film itself. As of May 25, 2010 the film is available on DVD and has been reviewed by Total Film.

Rosie

'Butterfly' - Rosie and the Goldbug
Steven Sole directed this music video for up and coming band Rosie and the Goldbug. I shot the live action elements and he took care of the rest! The band is amazing live and this is just a glimpse into Steve's untamed imagination so I'm eager to see what they both do next.

Wooden Nickel Productions
I have worked with Jill Riley and Kathleen Olmstead of Wooden Nickel Productions on three short films, each one more ambitious than the last. I shot their latest endeavour The Princess of Selkirk Avenue on Super 16mm for an HD finish. It nearly broke the bank but the film turned out beautifully, with incredible sound design from Elma Bello and a terrific score by Ron Hawkins. Stay tuned for more as it gets unleashed to festivals this Autumn.

Own Sidekick on DVDSidekick
Some friends from film school and I spent every weekend for 10 weeks shooting the unlikely superhero hit Sidekick. Director Blake Van De Graaf and Writer/Producer Michael Sparaga then devoted months finishing and promoting the film. You can read the whole story of the film's surprising success, watch a trailer and read some terrific reviews. Sidekick is available on DVD from Warner Brothers Home Video and Maple Pictures.

Infest Wisely
Wired.com calls Infest Wisely "A great lo-fi sci-fi nanopunk flick"! Craig Macnaughton's company Filmquake co-produced this anthology feature film from Jim Munroe's script. I shot 'Early Adopter', the chapter Craig directed, where we first learn about the seemingly harmless Nanobots. Made for $700 in a few weeks, this is guerilla filmmaking at its finest.
Watch 'Early Adopter'.

'By Charlie Walker' Official Site

By Charlie Walker
Rebecca Sernasie directed this 35mm short about growing up. The official site includes a synopsis and a photo gallery. We had a great time making this one, and I look forward to working with Rebecca and Producer Priya Rao again.

The Ecstasy of Andy Boorman
I made this promo for the hilarious Stand-up Poet and comic actor Andy Boorman. I don't know if it does his work justice but it was a treat to make. Scroll down to the very bottom of the Music + Corporate Video page for a look.

April Ireland

In Toronto I used to work with Glamour and Fitness photographer Paul Buceta on a regular basis, lighting models and shooting videos. I'd like to say I taught him a few things about lighting, and I'm sure he'd like to say the same! Together we had the good fortune of working with some outstanding models, including Maggie Diubaldo, Krista Kelly, April Ireland, Tailor James, Crystal Beddows, Victoria Zdrok, Lisa Mackay and Amy Lynn Grover. You can see his work here.
